500 ml, on tap at the brewpub in Praha. Poured an unfiltered, light cloudy and reddish brown coloured Polotmavý Pivo with a two fingers creamy,, fine and beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles.
Soft carbonation. Great lacing.
The aroma is caramel malts, toasted cereals, yeast, intense grassy and citrussy hops, woody tones, acidic fruits, grapefruits and a barnyard touch.
The flavour is yeast, caramel malts, biscuits, dried fruits, nuts, wooden barrel and deep floral hops.
The mouthfeel is quite thin, creamy, round and very smooth. The texture is watery.
This light to medium bodied Polotmavý Pivo has a dry hoppy bitter and sweety malts finish.
This Oldgott Barrique is brewed in Praha by the microbrewery U Medviků. Well balanced and easy drinkable, Old Barrique is a convincing Polotmyvý Pivo. To taste it, on the source , .. a privilege ! I enjoyed it.

Das Oldgott ist ein Polotmavy, im englischsprachigen Raum Amber Lager, bei uns wohl so was wie ein Rotbier. Das spezielle am Oldgott (was für ein Name!) Ist die Lagerung im Barrique Fass. Es riecht leicht holzig, vielleicht bilde ich mir das auch nur ein und der Geruch kommt vom dunklen Malz. Die Farbe ist Bernstein opalisierend. Der Antrunk beginnt sehr süß und ruhig.e schmeckt als ob auch Weizen drin wäre. Das Fassaroma ist sehr dezent. Das normale Pils hat mir besser geschmeckt.
