68% Rezension zum Thiriez / Jester King - La Petite Princesse von JPB-76

750 ml capped bottle, purchased at the brewery. Poured in the original Thiriez stemmed tulip glass an unfiltered, hazy and pale golden coloured Ale with a one finger slight beige, fine and soapy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles.Soft carbonation. Some, fine, floating sediments. Good lacing. The aroma is intensely earthy and aromatic hops, straw, fruity, citrus, oranges, herbal notes, mint leaves and spicy, cloves, lemon zest, pepper. The flavour is yeast, pronounced earthy and aromatic hops, fruity, oranges, herbal, mint leaves and a touch of woods. The mouthfeel is thin ( its 'a a 2,9 % ABV ), crispy, sparkling and hoppy bitter. The texture is oily. This light bodied Low Alcoholic Table Beer has a lingering hoppy bitter finish. This La Petite Princesse is a collaboration Beer between Brasserie Thiriez and the Jester King Brewery in Austin, Texas. It's brewed in the French Flandern, Département Nord, Région Hauts de France. It's a brillant demonstration of both brewers, that you don' t need an absolute high alcoholic level to make a beer succesful. La Petite Princesse has a U. S. brother, Le Petit Prince, brewed in Austin. La Petite Princesse offered a real complexity, an inviting nose and a lot of flavours on the palate. Perhaps not " The " but surely " a " perfect and ideal Session Ale. I' m under its charm.
