330 ml capped bottle, purchased at the brewery. Poured in the original Page 24 stemmed glass an unfiltered, hazy and bright golden coloured IPA with a generous two fingers very fine, dense, creamy and almost white foamy head that had a very long retention and tons omicro bubbles.
Sustained carbonation. Great lacing.
The aroma is moderate caramel malts, bready, fruity hops, citrus, grapefruits, apricots and an unexpected metallic feel.
The flavour is fruity hops, citrus, grapefruits, apricots on a quite discreet malty base.
The mouthfeel is creamy, quite thin, round, moderate bitter and smooth. The texture is silky.
This light bodied IPA has a dry light bitter finish.
This Page 24 Black Edition I.P.A. is brewed in Département Pas-de-calais, Région Hauts-de-France by the brewery Saint Germain. This " small " French IPA is easy going and offered a quite inviting nose, not really followed on the palate. For short , a disappointement.
