500 ml capped bottle. Poured in a Vase an unfiltered, cloudy and orange-golden coloured H W with a generous one finger very fine, dense and almost white foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles.
Sustained carbonation. Some lacing.
The aroma is intense wheat malts, spicy, cloves and sourish fruits, citrus.
The flavour is yeast, wheaty and barley malts, spicy, cloves, bubblegum, a peppery spot and fruity, faint bananas, citrus, grapefruit.
The mouthfeel is quite thin and round. The texture is watery.
This light to medium bodied Hefeweizen has a dry wheat malts and fruity finish.
Easy drinkable, this Weßbier Hell is brewed in the Bamberger area, in Merkendorf, by the Hummel Brewery. It offered a crafty and inviting nose. The palate, not so intense, is rather averaging. For short, a not keep one's promise and I am a bit disappointed.
