330 ml long neck & capped bottle, IBU 60. Poured in a typical Scottish thistle form stemmed glass a crystal clear and golden amber coloured Amber Ale with a one finger light beige, fine and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles.
Soft carbonation. Great lacing.
The aroma is a solid Vienna malts base, caramel notes, piney and fruity hops, passion fruits, grapefruits.
The flavour is moderate sweety malts, caramel, powerful piney and fruity hops, passions fruits, grapefruits.
The mouthfeel is quite thin, creamy, high hoppy bitter, velvety and smooth. The texture is oily.
This light bodied Amber Ale has a pronounced hoppy bitter finish.
This Broken Dial, brewed in Scotland by Harviestoun Brewery, is well balanced, easy drinkable and well flavoured. For a only 4,5 ABV it offered a great palate. Chapeau !
