330 ml capped bottle. Poured an unclear, light cloudy and copper-amber coloured Belgian Tripel with a one finger very fine, creamy, dense and off-white foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bulles.
Sustained carbonation. Good lacing.
The aroma is yeast, caramel malts, straw, honey, flowery hops, fruity, quince, orange, mirabelle plums and a well present alcoholic feeling.
The flavour is yeast, caramel malts, herbal hops, fruity, quince, bitter orange, rhubarba and a quite aggressive alcoholic feeling.
The mouthfeel is creamy, fulled, sugary and syrupy. The texture is oily.
This full bodied Belgian Tripel has a dry sugary malts finish and a prononced warming continuation.
Gypsy Rose, a characterful Belgian Tripel, is brewed by the brewery Saint Hélène in the belgian province of Luxemburg. The assertive alcoholic presence make it not so easy trinkable. Overall Gypsy Rose is a crafty and pleasant Belgian Tripel. The try worth !
