Poured in a shaker pint glass an unpasteurized, unfiltered, opaque and impressively black-black ( is more black possible ? ) coloured Irish Coffee Stout with a symbolic tan foamy head that had no retention and no lasting bubbles.No carbonation. No lacing.The aroma is burnt malts, roasted coffee beans, toffee, a spicy note, vanilla and a touch of dark chocolate.The flavour is a cup a black coffee with burnt and roasted coffee beans, dark bitter chocolate and ashes.The mouthfeel is light crispy, quite thin and sourish bitter. The texture is watery to oily.This light bodied Irish Coffee Stout Style has a dry coffeish finish.This Stout is brewed in the Czech Republic by the Kocour brewery in North Bohemia, close to the German boarder.
