330 ml capped bottle, Poured a clear and dark brown-mahogany coloured Porter with a generous one finger fine, creamy and tan foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing.
The aroma is roasted malts, caramel, dark chocolate, spicy , licorice and vinoussy tones.
The flavour is roasted malts, caramel, herbal hops, fruity, figs, plums, brown sugar, spicy licorice and notes of ashes.
The mouthfeel is quite fulled, creamy, fizzy and smooth. The texture is a bit oily.
This medium bodied Porter has a long roasted malts and light bitter finish.
This Ninkasi Noire is brewed in the outskirts of Lyon. It's an easy drinkable and free French interpretation of the Bristish style Porter, for short , quite pleasant.
