330 ml capped bottle. Poured in a Belgian stemmed glass and unfiltered, opaque, golden-yellow coloured Blonde Ale with a one finger dense and off-white foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles.
Soft carbonation. Sediments in a floating powder. Good lacing.
The aroma is solid sweety malts, notes of hay and barnyard, flowery hops, fruity, oranges, peaches, citrus, bananas, spicy, coriander.
The flavour is yeast, grainy sweety malts, spicy, coriander, herbal tones and flowery hops.
The mouthfeel is light crispy, thick and amazing dry-sourish. The texture is oily.
This medium bodied Blonde Ale has a dry sourish-bitter finish.
This Viven Original Blond is brewed in Sijsele, close to Brugge, in West Vlaanderen by the Brouwerij Viven. Well balanced, rich flavored, well refreshing, it offered an impressive palate, for short a solid Flandrian Blonde Ale.
