330 ml long neck & capped bottle, as a 6,7 % ABV. Poured in a nonic half pint glass an unclear, almost opaque and dark-dark-brown, yes " schwarz " coloured Stout with half a finger dense, creamy and tan foamy head that had a long retention and many micro bubbles.
Low carbonation. No lacing.
The aroma is strong roasted malts, strong roasted coffee beans, strong dark chocolate.
The flavour is coffee beans, dark chocolate on a roasted malt basis, dried fruits, dates, raisins, earthy hops, ashes and burned wood notes.
The mouthfeel is creamy, thick, sparkly, sweety-bitter and smooth. The texture is oily. The alcohol is very well hidden.
This medium to full bodied Stout has a dry coffeish , chocolate and bitter finish.
This high flavoured Export Stout - London 1890 is brewed in the British capital by The Kernel Brewery. It' s a perfect representative of the English Stout Style. I enjoyed it.

The Kernel Export Stout 7,2% ABV. Das Bier ist pechschwarz und blickdicht mit rotbraunem Schaum. Es riecht nach Kaffee. Der Körper ist voluminös. Ich schmecke vielfältige Kaffee- und Schokolade-Aromen zusammen mit einer leichten Restsüße. Im Nachtrunk ein leicht bitteres Malzaroma. Hervorragend.
