Poured in the original De Sutter stemmed glass an unfiltered, opaque and orange golden Pale Ale with a generous one finger creamy, very fine, dense and off-white foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles.Active carbonation. Good lacing.The aroma is malty, cereals, yeast, honey tones.The flavour is sweety malts, pronounced herbal and hearthy hops, spicy, vanilla and a peppery spot.The mouthfeel is creamy, sparkling and round. The texture is oily.This medium to full bodied Pale Ale has a long malty and herbal bitter finish.Well refreshing, this Ictis, an organic ale, from the Brewery De Sutter comes from the French Département Eure, Région Normandy. It's pronounced herbal side leads to a real rural feel and gives it an own character. I enjoyed it.
