1 pt 6 oz capped bottle, 100 IBU. Poured in a Teku stemmed glass an unfiltered, hazy and dark burgundy-brown coloured B W with a two fingers fine, beige and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles.
Soft carbonation. Great lacing.
The aroma is aromatic fruity, citrus grapefruit, and piney hops on a solid toasted and sweety malts backbone, notes of caramel.
The flavour sweety caramel and toasted malts, strong flowery and piney hops, and late coming a spicy side, licorice, vanilla.
The mouthfeel is fulled, creamy, silky and smooth. The texture is oily.
This full bodied B W has a lingering hoppy bitter finish. The alcohol, if fairly well hidden, is quickly detected. That's lead to a memorable warming continuation.
